Contemporary Painting Show @ Hill Street Brasserie
(Opening as Part of Culture Night Belfast, 2011)
This exhibition brings together the work of four of Northern Ireland’s most exciting young contemporary painters. All recent graduates, the Belfast-based artists have exhibited both locally and internationally, including shows in London and New York. This exhibition of recent paintings will showcase diverse approaches to questions of human existence through ideas ranging from the historical and socio-political to the psychological and scientific. Featuring the work of Gemma Gallagher (nominated ‘the most promising young artist in the UK’ by Michael Glover, Art Critic for the Independent), Gemma O’Hare, Craig Donald and Brian Kielt (Winner of Stendhal Festival of Art 2011). All works will be available for purchase.
